Babette's Feast Overview
With a solid 7.2/10 rating, Babette's Feast (1987) is one worth adding to your collection in full HD. Blending Drama and History elements, the film stands out in its category. The full 1h 44m runtime is tightly compressed without losing visual quality. A French housekeeper with a mysterious past brings quiet revolution in the form of one exquisite meal to a circle of starkly pious villagers in late 19th century Denmark.
