Galathea Overview
Galathea earned a 7.0/10 and was released in 1935. Pick your preferred resolution from 720p to 2160p. This Animation entry delivers exactly what the genre promises. All 11 minutes are packed into a lean file that looks and sounds great. Pioneer of silhouette animation, Lotte Reiniger, uses this technique in a retelling of the Greek legend in which the sculptor, Pygmalion, brings a statue to life.
