The Butcher Overview
With a solid 7.1/10 rating, The Butcher (1970) is one worth adding to your collection in full HD. Blending Thriller and Crime elements, the film stands out in its category. The full 1h 33m runtime is tightly compressed without losing visual quality. An unlikely friendship between a dour, working class butcher and a repressed schoolteacher coincides with a grisly series of Ripper-type murders in a provincial French town.
